Best Hikes to Avoid Bikes

Most trails in Snowmass are usable by both hikers and mountain bikers (in some cases, equestrians as well). If you’re looking for a hiking experience where you can let your guard down a bit and not worry about mountain biking traffic, check out these trails:

 

Vista Trail

A very accessible hike, starting in Base Village and finishing up at Elk Camp.

Summit Trail

Starts at the top of the Elk Camp gondola and finishes at the top of the Snowmass Ski Area. This can also be a continuation of the Vista Trail for those looking for a bigger hike.

This loop or Summit Trail add-on is accessed via Elk Camp.
