The Seven Star Trail was opened in fall 2016, and it quickly became a Roaring Fork Valley favorite. Both hikers and mountain bikers can now stay on the North side of the rim and loop back down to Town Park/the Snowmass Recreation Center by coupling the Rim Trail North and the Seven Star Trail for a quick loop. Dogs are not allowed on the Seven Star trail, but are permitted on the adjacent North Rim trail as long as they are on a leash. Please be aware that this is a popular mountain biking trail, generally in the downhill direction, so be aware of fast traffic.
Free parking is available at Town Park Station/Snowmass Recreation Center.
